April 9, 2007 Toronto, ON: Sofea Inc., fueling its growth in Requirements Lifecycle Acceleration™ with industry-leading customers such as TD Canada Trust, CIBC, Bank Of Montreal, Deloitte, AT&T and RH Donnelly, today announced it has appointed an additional new key executive. This announcement is the third appointment to the Sofea executive team since the closure of its $6.25m financing in January, 2007.

Joining Sofea as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales is Robert L. Howatt. Mr. Howatt is a 25 year software professional, with deep experience of driving multi-million dollar software sales and geographic business expansion efforts. Mr. Howatt's tenure includes 4 years as a VP of Sales at Mercury Interactive (which was acquired in 2006 by HP Software), 7 years at Tivoli Systems (acquired by IBM), and senior sales executive positions at Revere Systems, Uniface Corporation, Ingres Corporation, Wang and IBM. Over the next 90 days, Mr. Howatt will be optimizing the sales process and extending Sofea's direct sales territories and indirect channels with certified resellers.
