Board of Directors
Robert (Bob) J.A. Fraser, Chairman
Bob is the independent non-executive chairman of Blueprint's board. He lives in Wilmington, Delaware and is an accomplished professional director and operating chief executive. Bob is also chairman of the board of MBNA Canada Bank and a member of the boards of Easter Seals and Leadership Delaware. Prior roles include Vice Chairman of MBNA America Bank, where his accomplishments included leading and improving multiple, corporate-wide technology initiatives. Bob also previously held many senior executive positions at Hercules Incorporated, a leader in the chemicals industry.
Alex Moorhead
Alex Moorhead, Managing Partner of the Tandem Expansion Fund (www.tandemexpansion.com), has 15 years experience, primarily building and managing high growth companies. Prior to joining Tandem, Mr. Moorhead co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of LMG, a London, England based business which and owns and operates Nectar, the UK's leading consumer loyalty program with 50% UK household participation. LMG was acquired by Group Aeroplan (now AIMIA, TSX:AIM) in December 2007. Mr. Moorhead has also worked in corporate finance at Banc of America Securities (San Francisco) and UBS (New York) where he executed a wide variety of transactions including capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Moorhead began his career as part of the start-up management team at Loyalty Management Group Canada which owned and operated the Air Miles program in Canada.
Roger Wilson
Roger, a Partner with BDC IT Venture Fund (www.bdc.ca), has been a director of Blueprint since 2007. He is a veteran of the venture capital business with over 20 years' experience. Leveraging his prior entrepreneurial experience, he has assisted many technology growth companies over the years, managing investments in software, IT services, electronics manufacturing and life sciences. He has played an active role on the board of directors of both private and public companies across a diverse range of businesses and stage of development. Since 2000, Roger has concentrated on the IT sector where he focuses on helping early stage companies in Enterprise Software, Internet and Mobile to grow into world class companies. He was previously Vice President of the Canadian Venture Capital Association (CVCA) and Chair of the CVCA's Professional Development Committee.
Paul McFeeters
Paul McFeeters is an independent director, and has been a director of Blueprint since 2007, and acts as Chair of the Blueprint Audit Committee. Paul is currently the CFO of Open Text Corporation (www.opentext.com), a publicly traded company and largest independent provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software. Paul’s illustrious career included prior roles included CFO of Platform Computing Inc. (a grid computing software vendor), Kintana, Inc. (a privately-held IT governance software provider sold to Mercury Interactive), as well as President and CEO at both MD Private Trust and Municipal Financial Corporation.
David Nyland
David is President & CEO of Blueprint. David is a seasoned chief executive with extensive executive leadership experience in the information technology industry. He has a proven track record of establishing vision and strategy and executing to create value for all stakeholders. He has served as President & CEO of NBS Technologies, a publicly traded technology company, and held C-level executive roles at 2 venture backed software companies, Architel Systems Ltd (sold to Nortel and now part of Oracle Corp) and Syndesis Ltd (sold to SubexAzure). As part of David’s varied experience he has managed operations globally including Canada, across the USA, London, France, China and Brazil. He started his career with Accenture in the UK. David also serves as a board member for several companies and organizations including Blueprint, Redback Communications, Walsingham Fund, and is Chairman of AceTech Ontario, a non-for-profit CEO organization.
