Leadership Team at Blueprint
Blueprint has assembled a seasoned executive management team with a proven track record in commercializing software on a global stage and delivering long-term shareholder value.
The team has a range of prior blue-chip experience including senior roles at IBM, HP Software, Accenture, Novell and KPMG, combined with high growth global technology company experience at Mercury, Tivoli, Architel, Syndesis, RedKnee and PlateSpin.
Blueprint's management team provides strategy, leadership, and oversees all aspects of operations including the realization of Blueprint's mission and vision, and are custodians of Blueprint’s values.

David Nyland, President & CEO
David is a seasoned chief executive with extensive executive leadership experience in the information technology industry. He has a proven track record of establishing vision and strategy and executing to create value for all stakeholders. He has served as President & CEO of NBS Technologies, a publicly traded technology company and held C-Level executive roles at 2 venture backed software companies, Architel Systems Ltd (sold to Nortel and now part of Oracle Corp) and Syndesis Ltd (sold to SubexAzure). As part of David's varied experience he has managed operations globally including Canada, across USA, London, France, China and Brazil. He started his career with Accenture in the UK. David also serves as a board member of several companies and organizations including Blueprint, Redback Communications, Walsingham Fund, and AceTech Ontario.

Greg Kent, CFO
Greg is a senior finance executive with extensive public and private company experience in the software industry. He has over 16 years of diversified finance experience including: capital market and debt fund raising, business process design/reengineering, and establishing international business arrangements and legal entities. Greg has held senior leadership positions with multinational, high growth companies in the software and manufacturing industries. His most recent positions have been Chief Financial Officer of Genesis Worldwide, a leading provider of structural light gauge steel framing technology and Vice President, Finance at Redknee Solutions Inc., an international telecommunication software and services provider; both are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. After graduating from Queen's University Commerce, Greg began his career at KPMG LLP where he was a senior manager and earned his Chartered Accountancy.

Bob Howatt, SVP Worldwide Sales
Bob is a seasoned software sales professional with deep experience in managing high-performance sales teams and major F500 accounts. His prior experience includes a Regional VP Sales role at Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP Software) where he had managed a $100M territory. Bob also spent seven years as Regional Manager at Tivoli Systems (acquired by IBM) where he was responsible for managing a large regional sales force addressing the financial services industry. Prior roles included VP, Sales at Revere Technologies and a tenure at IBM.

Israel Ben-Ishai, SVP Engineering
As SVP of Engineering, Israel manages product R&D and the entire development cycle to ensure the timely delivery of high quality and innovative products.
Over the last 25 years, Israel served in key product development and general management positions across the software industry. Most recently Israel was VP of Engineering at Novell where he managed a global engineering group of 300 people with an annual revenue of over $150MM. Previously, Israel was VP, Engineering at PlateSpin which was acquired by Novell in 2008, preceded by senior Engineering executive roles at Computron, MGI Software, Bioscript, and Certicom.
Israel holds a Dottore degree in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico Di Milano in Milan, Italy. He also completed an intensive Executive training program at Queens University. Israel was certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified SCRUM Master and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).

John Stetic, SVP Product Management
John is an innovative product leader with both strategy and software design experience across many industries. In his role as SVP of Product Management, John is responsible for the creation and realization of Blueprint's product strategy. Prior to Blueprint, John was VP of Product Management at Novell, responsible for Novell's systems management product lines. John was a founder of PlateSpin (acquired by Novell) and ran product management and technical services. Additionally, John has held a number of technical roles in software companies from mobile application servers to medical lab automation systems. John holds an Engineering degree from Queen's University and completed an intensive executive education program at Harvard Business School.
