Summary

- Blueprint is expanding its consulting services to support a growing global customer and partner base.
- Many Blueprint customers are now looking to Blueprint as a source for qualified Business Analysts to help drive adoption of Requirements Center within their project teams.
- Business Analyst consultants must have experience with Blueprint Requirements Center and/or other first generation requirements management tools (ReqPro, Doors, Caliber, etc.).
- Business Analyst consultants must be requirements experts with a detailed knowledge of requirements authoring, validation and communication processes, techniques and best practices.
- Consulting and mentoring services are designed to provide on-the-job training and knowledge transfer by working in the customer's lab on the customer's project with an experienced Blueprint expert.
Responsibilities
- The Blueprint business analyst/consultant will be responsible for providing business analysis and requirements definition and management services on customer projects.

In addition to business analysis services, the consultant will often be called to mentor the customer personnel in the use of Requirements Center and other Blueprint products. The consultant may participate in a range of activities that may include:
- Ensure proper installation of Blueprint software including the License Server and Team Repository
- Review of proposed project(s) and existing requirements documentation and provide recommendations for Project, Model and Repository structure.
- Review requirements models (one-on-one or in groups) and provide comments on requirements content and utilization of Requirements Center capabilities.
- Provide guidance on using UI mockups, data and best practices on Requirements Simulation.
- Assist with Word document template mapping and template creation.
- Provide guidance on Requirements Center Test Generation capabilities, best practices and integration with HP Quality Center.
Required
- 8+ years experience in business analysis and consulting roles in the software industry.
- Detailed knowledge of and hands-on experience performing various aspects of requirements definition, business analysis, software development & testing for successful projects.
- Direct prior experience with Blueprint Requirements Center and/or other first generation requirements management tools (ReqPro, Doors, Caliber, etc.). Also, experience with HP Quality Center is a plus.
- Proven excellent presentation, written & verbal communication, and customer management skills.
- Strong mentoring, problem solving, innovation, multi-tasking, and IT/technical skills.
- Track record of working independently and in teams to meet deadlines, while maintaining quality.
- Ability & flexibility to sustain a travel-centric workstyle across North America, Europe, and worldwide.

- BS or BA in computer science or engineering discipline.
