Summary

Blueprint is expanding and enhancing its training development and delivery capabilities
to support a rapidly growing global customer and partner base. -
Training, that has traditionally been delivered via ILT (Instructor Led Training) onsite sessions at customer sites and public training at Blueprint offices, is being augmented by significant initiatives in:
VILT (Virtual Instructor Lead Training), eLearning, LMS (Learning Management System), and certification. - Training includes essentials and advanced courses covering Blueprint’s products, plus related concepts, processes, and best practices.
- We are looking for experienced eLearning Courseware Developers who can create engaging, effective, and maintainable online training content, that can be reused/leveraged in VILT and ILT.
Responsibilities
-
Participate in the assessment of customer, partner, and internal training needs,
while sharing previous eLearning experience and lessons learned. -
Input to the architecture and design of the eLearning content, delivery systems,
LMS (Learning Management System), certification process, and maintenance strategy to address upgrades to Blueprint’s products and continuous improvement of the training content and systems. -
Obtain hands-on experience and understand new Blueprint product capabilities and features,
plus their value to different groups of end users. Develop storyboards to communicate and review related training plans and content for different learners. -
Implement, upgrade, and maintain SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) compliant
eLearning courses and modules, with an interactive Show– Do–Try pattern,
while maximizing the hands-on learning experience.- Create intro, concept and best practices slideware. Reference other knowledge base assets.
- Perform and capture product demos, create interactive simulations, and record voiceovers.
- Develop hands-on exercises and stage virtual labs with example requirements projects.
- Create quizzes, tests, learning games, scoring, etc., all contributing to certification processes.
- Implement a learner feedback and survey mechanism to measure the appeal and effectiveness of eLearning assets and to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage change and ensure consistency across eLearning assets.
- Working with the LMS Administrator, manage customer, partner, and internal access to training content and environments. Assist in the integration of the LMS with other corporate operations systems.
- Remain current on eLearning best practices, tools, and technologies.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
-
2+ years direct experience in eLearning courseware development.
- Candidates will be asked to show examples of previous eLearning courseware developed.

Demonstrated working knowledge and practical experience with:
- Content creation tools, such as: Adobe Captivate, Camtasia Studio, Articulate, Quizmaker
- Flash, Actionscript, and integration with XML
- SCORM standards
- Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop

Experience in implementing, managing, and integrating:
- LMS
- WebEx, GoToMeeting, Social Media and Collaboration tools
- Virtual Machines and Virtual Training Labs

Strong learning/teaching, problem solving, innovation, multi-tasking, and IT/technical skills.
- Familiar with the key principles of adult learning and instructional design.

Aptitude to learn requirements development, business analysis, software development and testing
best practices and to translate this knowledge plus Blueprint product skills via eLearning courseware. -
Demonstrated creative and artistic courseware development skills,
combined with excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent scoping, time estimation, and work planning skills. Detailed and quality orientated work style.
- Track record of periodically confirming and managing changing priorities and then working independently and in teams to meet targets/deadlines of work completion, while maintaining quality.
- University/College degree or professional equivalent.
Ideal

5+ years experience in training, mentoring, and consulting with software products and processes.
- Experience with requirements definition, business analysis, use case modeling, user interface prototyping, simulation, data modeling, software development, and test generation.

Ability to grow, mentor, and consultant on requirements development, and Blueprint products.
- Classroom and web based remote delivery of training experience.
