Blueprint Announces Appointment of New Marketing Leadership Team

Expansion of Marketing Team Helps Guide Requirements Definition and Management Software Leader To New Levels of Growth Over Coming Years

Toronto, Canada – December 13, 2010: Blueprint Software Systems Inc. ("Blueprint"), the leader in requirements definition and management software, today announced the formation of a marketing leadership team. This new group which brings a history of avant-garde product innovation, state-of-the-art online marketing practices and technologies, and depth in requirements thought-leadership includes Rob Bartlett as VP of Marketing Operations, Tony Higgins as VP of Product Marketing, and John Shriver-Blake as VP of Product Management.

Rob Bartlett joins Blueprint from Dyadem, the market leader in Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Quality Risk Management (QRM) solutions. Over the past 6 years Rob has established Dyadem's substantial web presence including implementation and optimization of a world-class marketing automation platform. Rob will lead all of Blueprint's marketing operations including advancement of Blueprint's overall web presence and deepening social media strategy including www.blueprintsys.com, and establishment of a marketing automation platform for demand generation including coordination of all Blueprint marketing campaigns and events.

Tony Higgins rejoins Blueprint from FanVision, a sports events platform. Tony previously held product marketing and technical lead positions at Blueprint over a six year period. Prior to Blueprint, Tony held various senior technical positions at Borland and Rational software. Tony is a recognized "requirements" thought leader and evangelist and will oversee the positioning, packaging and launch of Blueprint's product offerings, working closely with the Blueprint sales team.

John Shriver-Blake is promoted from within Blueprint to the new VP of Product Management role after overseeing Blueprint's product management organization for the past 18 months. John joined Blueprint from Microsoft where, over a seven year period, he lead a product management team focused on cloud based software and services (Microsoft's Online Services) and was involved in the definition and design of the next generation of Microsoft's business services like Exchange and SharePoint Online. John's focus is leading the scoping and definition of Blueprint's product line.
