Collaborate Online with Cloud Based Requirements Software
Blueprint users stay in tune with what’s happening across multiple projects through their personal Activity Center and interact through Blueprint’s many social features. These features are pervasive throughout the product helping to draw people into the conversation and encourage interaction. Visual requirements formats and rich simulation removes ambiguity and makes complex requirements easier to understand, helping facilitate collaboration. Instead of getting vital stakeholder feedback later in the lifecycle, Blueprint provides the features needed to engage stakeholders early and often during the project.
Activity Center
In Blueprint each user has an individual Activity Center that provides a rich “snapshot” of what’s important to you across the projects you’re involved with. Events on requirements artifacts you’re “following”, any time you are “mentioned” in conversations, and changes to the status of your reviews are just some examples of what your Activity Center helps you stay aware of. Blueprint’s Activity Center helps you keep your thumb on the pulse of the requirements.
Email Notifications
Blueprint sends real-time email notifications of significant events. Email notifications are pervasive in Blueprint, being sent when events occur in reviews, when people ‘share’ artifacts, and even when mentioning individuals in conversations. Blueprint email notifications help keep users up to date, and ensure that nothing is missed.
Social Discussions
Blueprint allows users to engage in conversations about individual requirements artifacts. Users can add comments to these discussions, can “like” or “dislike” the comments of others, and can draw others into the conversation simply by “mentioning” them. Customizable comment states and a filterable view of all project discussions make them easy to manage.
Role Based Access
Blueprint allows you define the roles you need for your project, and then assign any number of people to those roles. Not only that, but this role-based access can be specified for certain areas of the project. So Matthew may be a Contributor in one area, but an Author in a different area. The administration of role-based access is part Blueprint’s management capabilities. Blueprint’s flexible role-based access makes collaborative access to requirements by large and diverse teams manageable.
Share Requirements
Every requirement in Blueprint has its own unique URL, even each historical version. With a simple click, requirements can be shared, emailed, embedded into documents, presentations, websites, and even other project tools. This makes requirements information readily accessible whenever and from wherever it’s needed – with just a click.
