Blueprint has practical integrations with the most popular tools used on application development projects. It automatically generates a comprehensive set of tests from the requirements and populates ALM solutions with those tests, the requirements, and complete traceability. Blueprint also provides integration with Microsoft Excel allowing users to leverage Excel's many features or use it as a conduit to other third-party toolsets. The Application Programming Interface (API) provides programs access to Blueprint requirements information for those wishing to create custom integrations. Blueprint's integrations help ensure alignment of all groups who collaborate on application projects.
 
Test Generation
Blueprint automatically generates tests from use cases, not only saving the countless hours it usually takes to create those tests by hand but also providing higher test quality and more reliable test coverage. The resulting tests can be output to HP Quality Center, or to Excel. Blueprint's test generation capability ensures a strong connection between requirements that outline what a system is 'supposed' to do, and the tests that will confirm the application actually does it.
 
ALM Integration
Requirements developed using blueprint are the basis or input for work done by virtually every other team member. To align the team with the agreed-upon requirements, they need to be available directly within the tools they use. For this reason Blueprint provides integrations with leading Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions using "ALM Adapters".

Office Integration
Blueprint lets you import glossaries and text requirements in Microsoft Excel files along with any properties and hierarchy. Conversely Blueprint lets you export requirements and auto-generated tests to Microsoft Office with formats determined by predefined or user-defined Blueprint templates. Blueprint's Microsoft Office integration streamlines project processes by allowing access to requirements information in commonly used formats.
 
Open API
Blueprint provides an open API allowing access to Blueprint requirements information by external applications. Access to requirements information via the API is governed by the role-based security privileges configured in the Blueprint project(s). Using the open API, Blueprint customers can align their requirements platform with their specific tool environment and processes in a manner that's both reliable and sustainable.
