Define and Manage Software Requirements with Blueprint
Requirements Definition and Management Software That Works
Blueprint is a requirements management tool that will steer your team through the milestones of every project avoiding obstacles that delay schedules and inflate budgets. Whether your team is collaborating or validating, Blueprint has the functionality that keeps them focused, engaged, and up-to-date.
Tools for Every Stage of Your Project
Each stage of a project comes with its own set of challenges. Blueprint provides tools that are designed to work within each unique phase. Give your team easy access to features that help manage issues before they become problems:
Authoring
Limiting ambiguity and making requirements engaging and easy to understand are vital to the success of your project. That’s why Blueprint provides visual requirements editors that allow users to select the format that fits their task: business processes, UI mock ups, domain diagrams, storyboards, and more.
Validation
Keep stakeholders engaged and help them understand the meaning of requirements with Blueprint’s review dashboards. Choose from tools that help control large-scale requirements reviews among diverse groups of people, like document generation, requirements simulation, progress tracking, and formal/informal reviews and approvals.
Collaboration
Engage stakeholders early and often in the project using Blueprint’s social features.
Email notifications, social discussions, role-based access, and share requirements help team members stay in tune with what’s happening, even across multiple projects.
Management
Effectively manage requirements, people, and projects by accurately assessing the impact of requirements changes, reviewing changes and history, and automatically managing requirement versions. Whether you need tools to manage version control, baselines, traceability, reusability, or security, Blueprint can help.
Integration
Blueprint has practical integrations that work with the most popular tools used on application development projects, including Microsoft Excel. Blueprint’s ALM and Office integrations help align all groups involved.

Deployment Options
Blueprint can be provisioned in two ways:
On Premise:
The Blueprint server components are installed on the customer’s infrastructure. In this option, the customer’s IT organization is responsible for ensuring service to the community, installing patches and upgrades, configuring and maintaining integrations, etc. Blueprint does offer services to assist with deployment, and standard Blueprint support and maintenance is available.
Blueprint Cloud:
The Blueprint server components are hosted in Blueprint’s data center and users access it via secure internet connectivity. In this option, Blueprint is responsible for ensuring service to the user community and for installing patches and upgrades, etc. Integrations with customer ALM systems is possible via the optional Blueprint CloudConnect. When choosing Blueprint Cloud, nothing is required to be installed on the customer’s premises and new customers can be provisioned in as little as a day. Standard support and maintenance is available in this option as well.
